The Bungle Bungles … just fossilised beehives??

If you were here 360 million years ago you would have been part of history. The makings of the truly unique Bungle Bungles. A world heritage site about three hours south of Kununurra in Western Australia.

For the thousands of visitors who now make the slow two hour, four wheel drive trek to the site 55km off the Victoria Highway, you are certainly rewarded.

A range of walks amongst magnificent gorges adds to the truly unique experience being amongst a vast landscape of natural domes.

But I have a different theory about the origins of these thousands of domes….
